Over 60 years of activity in the funds of the State Enterprise ” Zahidukrgeologiya” accumulated a huge amount of hydrogeological and geological information.

At the request of the Customer, the Enterprise is considering, agreeing and providing recommendations on:

• Projects for geological study, including experimental (research) and industrial development;
• Projects of zones of sanitary protection of water intakes;
• Projects of field development (technological scheme);
• Projects for conducting works on the lands of the water fund.

State water cadastre. State accounting od underground water. Monitoring of underground water, resources and reserves. Monitoring of engineering-geological processes

An enterprise under state order maintains a state water cadaster, a state register of underground water, performs monitoring of resources and underground water reserves, carries out monitoring of engineering-geological processes in the territory of the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Transcarpathian region of Ukraine.

Our enterprise carries out:

• Prospecting and exploration of groundwater deposits;
• Study of conditions for the formation of operational reserves of underground water;
• Generalization of data on the use of underground water, their quantitative and qualitative characteristics;
• Regime observation of the levels and quality of underground water;
• Drilling of wells, accounting of wells;
• Inspection of water intakes of centralized water supply, single wells, man-made objects, hydraulic structures;
• Laboratory researches of water samples from water intakes;
• Research of areas of development, condition and the number of manifestations of landslides, karst and other dangerous exogenous processes.

Hydrogeological support

By order of the Customer, the Enterprise is carried out:

• Drawing up the projects of subsurface site:
  • geological study, including Pilot Development Planning;
  • definition of zones of sanitary protection of water intakes;
  • development of a deposit of groundwater (technological scheme).
• Preparation of hydrogeological conclusions for the allocation of land for economic development (geological and hydrogeological characteristic, recommendations for water supply and drainage, calculation of zones of sanitary protection of water intake).
• Preliminary assessment and testing of operational reserves of underground water deposits.

Well drilling

The company has more than 60 years’ experience in drilling operations. During the activity of the Company’s subdivisions, the exploration of deposits of underground fresh, mineral and thermal waters was successfully performed.

The drilling works are carried out by highly qualified staff with appropriate education, years of experience, and systematic qualification improvement.

Well drilling is accompanied by analytical, logging, geological and hydrogeological researches, inventory and approval (or testing) of reserves in the “State Committee of Ukraine for Mineral Reserves”.

The enterprise carries out:

• Drilling of hydrogeological wells;
• Formation and registration of passport wells;
• Preparation of design and estimate documentation for drilling, liquidation, conservation of wells;
• Repair, cleaning of wells;
• Research-filtering work;
• Determination of hydrogeological parameters;
• Sampling for complete chemical analysis.
