Laboratory Research

At present days, the State Enterprise “Zahidukrgeologiya” has the opportunity to provide a large range of laboratory research and services. The company has four laboratories – chemical, radiometric, non-destructive testing and electromeasuring.

By order of the Customer are executed:

• Measurement of physical and chemical composition and physical and mechanical properties of rocks, solid minerals;
• Radiation-hygienic estimation of rocks;
• Drawing up passports of radiation quality of water and rocks;
• Determination of bulk activity of radon in air;
• Determination of the radiation characteristic of mineral raw, water, rocks, soils, mineral fertilizers, building materials, and others;
• Water sampling and full chemical analysis and spectral analysis of the dry residue;
• Non-destructive control, diagnostics and examination of equipment with a conclusion on the possibility of its further exploitation;
• Measurement of insulation resistance;
• Electrical testing of protective equipment;
• Checking of protective systems of electric motors and other electric equipment.

Specialized vehicles services

During the period of activity of the Enterprise in our production service bases a large park of specialized equipment was created with the ability to perform a wide range of works.

For today the enterprise has the opportunity to provide services by special equipment, namely:

• Trucks (tractors, dump trucks, pipe trucks, trawls);
• Truck cranes (load-carrying capacity – 8 tons, 10 tons, 16 tons, 22 tons, 25 tons);
• Trac-machines (bulldozers, excavators);
• Specialized equipment (cementing equipment, compressor unit, laboratory, gas carriers, mortar-carrying truck).

Equipment Rental

Highly qualified specialists of the Company are constantly monitoring and analyzing the market of the geological exploration industry. Taking into account the needs of the market and its own resource capacities, the company successfully gives services for renting a wide range of equipment (drilling rigs, drill pipes, blow out preventer, etc.).

When renting, it is possible to involve our specialists to the installation, adjustment works and maintenance of equipment.

Taking into account the multifaceted structure of the Company, as well as a significant amount of property accumulated over 60 years of activity, the Enterprise successfully gives leases buildings and facilities for offices, production facilities and warehouses throughout the Western Ukraine.

According to the results of 60 years of geological exploration activity in the western region of Ukraine, the forces of units of the State Enterprise “Zahidukrgeologiya” have created a powerful fund of primary and secondary geological information on deposits and prospective areas for all types of minerals and geological and ecological condition of the territories of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Transcarpathian regions. At the request of central and local authorities, private organizations and individuals, the Enterprise may provide relevant information.
